High-Capacity Calibration with Superior Accuracy
Metrioc provides high-accuracy force calibration capabilities for a wide range of force-measuring instruments, from low-capacity devices to high-capacity systems used in demanding industrial and aerospace applications. Our laboratory performs force calibration using deadweight standards up to 1,200 lbf in both compression and tension modes, offering excellent measurement confidence for lower-capacity instruments.
For higher-capacity force-measuring instruments, Metrioc provides calibration using precision transfer standards up to 1,000,000 lbf in both compression and tension modes. These capabilities allow us to support load cells, proving rings, force gauges, dynamometers, force transducers, and other force-measuring devices across a broad range of applications.
Our capabilities also include calibration of large wheel load weigher scales, including aircraft wheel scales and truck wheel scales, with capacities up to 60,000 lbf. These services are designed to support customers who require accurate, reliable measurements for heavy-load weighing applications.
To achieve the most accurate and repeatable calibration setup, Metrioc also designs and manufactures custom compression and tension calibration adapters, including clevises, threaded couplings, fixtures, and other specialized hardware. Our engineering support allows us to create calibration setups that properly align the instrument, reduce measurement error, and improve confidence in the calibration results.
In addition, we design and manufacture custom calibration jigs for unique or custom-designed force-measuring instruments, including multi-axis transducers, handheld force devices, and other non-standard instruments. This combination of calibration expertise and engineering capability allows Metrioc to support both standard and highly specialized force measurement applications.
